FAQ

Who is Ayce Labs?

We're founders who through our own mental health experiences, aim to serve others. Ayce Labs is a startup focused on providing communal mental health support to areas where access to clinical care is too expensive, too stigmatized, or too inaccessible.

What is Vibe?

Vibe is a mobile platform where you can find peer support communities for mental health and wellness on your college campus.

Vibe offers you something special -- a space to be real and to find immediate support from your peers. Talk about tough topics. Help your friends. Remember that you are not alone and that there are people and resources around you to lift you up in both the good and bad times.

How can I use Vibe?

When you use Vibe, you build community with people on your campus based on your shared identities, interests, and experiences. Join groups to discuss topics, ask questions, organize in-person groups, vent, and find support on things that matter to your wellness.

Groups include Academics, Art, POC, LGBTQ+, Relationships, First-Gen Low-Income, Depression, Gratitude, Anxiety, Eating, Grief, & Animals/Nature. And we'll be adding more as we grow :)

Why should I care?

Your mental health is important! But depending on your context it's not always easy to take care of it in a professional setting.

Is Vibe fully anonymous? Is Vibe a safe community?

When you sign up, you will be asked to provide  your "edu" email address and create a username. No one will be able to see your real name unless you choose to disclose it. Our group discussion boards are all student-led, meaning that there is no formal facilitation - we want you to keep it real! However, human moderators will be reviewing posts that are posted. All community members have power to flag any hateful posts or comments, and any post or comment that receives 3 flags will be hidden and that account may be at risk for deletion. Please check out our Privacy Policy as well.

Is Vibe a substitute for medical care?

No. Because of our focus on building community and peer to peer support, Vibe does not offer formal clinical services. We do offer local mental health resources that conveniently pop out into your phone (i.e. hotlines, text crisis lines, etc.).

Alright that’s cool. How can I get started?

Vibe is available at San Jose State for now. Find it on the App Store or Play Store. If you'd like us to expand to your school, send us an email now!

I have suggestions on how to improve Vibe. What should I do?

We want your feedback! In the Settings tab on Vibe, there is an option to send feedback to the developer. Or, send us an email at info@aycelabs.com.
